Daily Field

About

Daily Field is a personal habit: walk the same loop around one field every morning and write down a few lines about what was there. Weather, birds, plants, the state of the path.

Nothing here is scientific. Names are my best guess, counts are rough, and plenty goes unnoticed. The point is to see small changes over a year — the first frost, the last swallow, the week the hawthorn turns.

The notebook started in September 2026. New notes appear when there is something worth writing down, which is most days, but not all.
